Nellie Anne Haskell Richards died October 4, 2009 after a long illness. She was born in Bell Oak Michigan on January 23, 1918. Nellie lived with her husband, Clare Richards, in Michigan before his work took them to Colombia SA, Trinidad WI and Liberia Africa. They retired in Delton after living several years in Lansing. She was a member of Bernard Historical Society and Inland Lakes Garden Club. She loved to play bridge and travel with her daughter. She is survived by daughter Anne Richards, grandchildren Todd and Jody Collins, six great-grandchildren and sister Ruth Burch. Her husband, grandson John Collins and three sisters preceded her in death. A family memorial will be held later. Donations may be made Bernard Historical Society.
