I am seeking the parents of my 5th-great-grandmother, Jane Taylor and her sister, Annie. Jane married John Carver Shurtleff about 1792, and Annie married his brother, Troas, on 18 Jul 1794 in Pelham, Mass. Benoni Shurtleff, the father of John and Troas, was living in Pelham in the 1790 Federal Census, and the Census identified two heads of household named Taylor living that year in Pelham, viz., James Taylor and Thos. Taylor, Jun.
