I'm looking for information of Osgood E. Fifield, born 1865 Michigan. He and his wife Martha were living in Springfield in 1930. Daughter Edna B. Fifield married Clarence Hale. Their children born in Springfield. Might be buried there?

Thank you! I'm interested in Osgood and Martha (Mrs. Osgood). It looks like they died there and may also be buried there. Edna and Clarence Hale may also be buried there.

Sometimes the directories will give the death date if the person had died that yr. but I cannot find anything like that. The last yr Martha was mentioned was 1956 living at 7 Sumner Ave. after that there were no more Fifield's listed.
1961 Clarence and Edna chaairman of board Springfield Foundry Co. h. East Longmeadow. The directory's for Spfld. stop at 1961.I will check SSDI.

Thank you. I believe Osgood died between 1930 and 1935. Clarence Hale died July 17, 1978 and Edna died June 20, 1970. They would have celebrated a 50th wedding anniversary October 3, 1966.

They had a son Clarence Jr, (1920-1985). Martha E. Fifield was born May 10, 1874.

I have information re Martha - is this of interest? Osgood E Fifield & Martha E Harpham were married on 30 May 1896 at Coldwater, Branch, Michigan. Martha (or Mattie) was born in 1874 in Michigan - the daughter of William Harpham & Eliza Virginia Warburton or Brown who were married on 29 Sept, 1867 at Branch, Michigan.

I have more if you are interested - the Harphams were from Lincolnshire, England & the Warburtons from East Lothian (formerly Haddingtonshire) Scotland

Thank you, that was very helpful. I'm still working at filling out the downline and living descendants. Any info?

Did you ever get the fate of deaths for these two? Also are you still looking for Edna and Clarence Hale? I work downtown Springfield if you think they died here.

Let me know and I can go look. Also if I have a date of death I can look for an obituary. That would give me a cemetery.

I notice you offered to look up an obituary for some people in the Boston area (if you were given an exact date). I wonder if you might be willing to try to find an obituary for the following relative--
Louis / Lewis Cook - b July 1825- d 24 Sept 1901, in Suffolk County (I believe)-- that was their address in 1900 census (1196 Dorchester Ave.). I believe Louis' name originally was KOCH in Wuerttemberg, Germany.
Thanks so very much in advance for any help or comments.
