I have his obituary that states his parents. Here it is verbatim:
"The

William G. Markoe died suddenly Sunday morning at 9:30 o'clock of a
heart attack at his home, 505 South Market street, aged 62 years, nine
months, eight days. He was a son of the late James M. and Ottilla Miss
Markoe and was for a number of years a brick mason for the firm of
Shook and James. Besides his widow, who before marriage was Miss
Ada
Baker, the following children survive: Mrs. Scott Study, Thurbie A.
Markoe, Frederick; Mrs. Howard
Glaeser, Baltimore; Mrs. Dewey
Beachley,
Middletown;
Roosevelt M. Markoe, at home; Mrs. William
Hicks, Baltimore;
Graden W. Markoe, Frederick; Miss Ruth W. Markoe, Miss Helen C. Markoe,
Miss June A. Markoe at home. Seventeen grandchildren also survive. Funeral
Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the late home. Interment Mt. Olivet
cemetery. Harry E. Carty, funeral director.
