J.C. "Jake" Mason, age 64, of MIDDLETOWN, OH passed away August 27, 2009 at his residence. He was born June 21, 1945 in Owsley County, KY to Andrew and Jalah (Angel) Mason. He was a laborer for McGraw Construction for 15 years, retiring in 1989. Jake was a member of God's Lighthouse Church and Lewis Street Praise and Worship Center. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters Ruby Ross and Naomi Allen. Jake is survived by daughter Michelle (Mark Stowers) Mason of MIDDLETOWN, OH; brothers Eugene (Martha) Angel and Andrew Jr. (Gail) Mason both of Middletown; sisters Pauline (Tim) Easter and Elsie Taylor both of Middletown; special friend Paul Schwart. Visitation will be held August 31, 2009 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Baker-Stevens Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held September 1, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Lewis Street Praise and Worship Center with Pastor Kenny Angel and Pastor George Reynolds officiating.
