Sorry, Jackson, I assumed you were speaking of Lewis Cole b. 1846 d. 1921 as he and his father James served together during the Civil War.

This has nothing to do with this thread but you are the closest one I can find to what I'm looking for.There is an obituary on here with the author listed as Michelle Cole.The obituary is for John Mason.He is the son of John and Joycie Mason(my great grandparents).It was posted in 1999 the year he died so it's been some time , but I was just wondering if you knew Michelle Cole.There is also a picture of John and Joycie with their three kids,Mildred(my grandmother),John,and Rob.Any information you could give me about either of these would be greatly appreciated.

Michelle Cole posts a LOT of obits for people who were born in KY, but lived and passed away in the SW Ohio area.
About this Mason family, do you have specific questions you have unanswered? According to the 1930 census the elder John Mason was a minister. Joycie's maiden name was Baker. You may already know this though.

Would like to know the location of the burials of James & Lewis Cole.
