Help!!!

I know nothing about my Dad's family other than they came from Laurel County in KY. Alfred Burnett (My grandfather) was born in Lida KY on June 26, 1906 and died on Agusut 11, 1948 in Hammond IN. His mother was Katie Hoskins, his father was Alfred or Alex Burnett. I know that there were at least two brothers, Virgil and Dugger.

I have some pictures of Alfred Burnette visting his family circa 1940 but I don't know who anybody is.

I would appreciate any help. It would be nice to find cousins in Kentucky.

It has been so long, you may no longer check for an answer regarding your Burnett family---I do not live in Laurel Co. now, but did at one time. Your great uncle Virgil was known as Whitey Burnett. He lived in Hammond, Indiana, and died in Black Oak, Indiana, i believe, at least when knew of his whereabouts in the 1980's that is where he was. He married twice and had at least 2 girls by his first wife (I do not know who she was.) His second wife was named Georgia.
She was by his side for years as he suffered from alzheimer disease. Whitey was in some related to my Jones family. I believe through Rebecca Jones. I would love to see the picture you have and see if I can identify Whitey for you.
