Looking for info on above two names. Parents of Thomas Jefferson, B.C.(Pete), Joseph, Catherine, Angela, Elizabeth,
Guy, Winnie, John B. and Fred.

Thomas Jefferson (Jeff) lived in Laurel, born 1872. Siblings lived in Lake, Evarts, and Oregon circa 1942.

William Franklin and Mary lived in Laurel or perhaps Clay.
Can find nothing on either name. Driving me crazy!

It appears that Polly Hensley was wife 2, and the mother of several of the children. Anyone recognize THAT connection?

Appears that William Franklin's parents were Thomas Jones and Sally (Sarah?) Ann Cook.

Listed in 1860 and 1870 Laurel Co. census with William F., Joseph and MarlIn in 1860....and

William F., Joseph, MarlAn, James M. and Mary A. in the 1870 census. Precinct is Bush.

1870 census also lists in the adjoining household (#55) Marlen (age 43) with wife Sarah A. (age 31) and children America (age 12), Mary (age 14) and Joseph (age 9).

Anyone recognize this family?

I know you have fleshed out the William and Mary Jones line since 2001. I saw it linked to the Cobb-Sasser webpage several years ago. it is no longer linked--in the process of bringing it back. I am a daughter of John B Jones and knew my aunts and uncles: Berda, Winnie (lived with them as a child), Fred, and Guy. One of their siblings you did not mention and whom I did not personally meet, but heard about is South Jones. If I have it correct, they were children of William Franklin Jones and Polly Hensley who was his second wife. I met Pete whom I remember as an uncle to those siblings (I could be wrong, that was when I was 7 or 8 years old.
I am here and have cousins in Laurel Co. and will go hunting for info, if you need it.
