Looking for information on the BEACH family who relocated from Ontario, Canada to Dows, Wright county, Iowa, in the late 1800's. Heads of household included Enos BEACH, William H. BEACH, Stephen BEACH, Milo Nelson BEACH and R.W. GOFF.

I would send this email to ask whether you have anything concerning a Mr. E. C. Beach, who married Jennie E. (or Jessica) Merritt in Chickasaw County in Nov 1881? They had at least one child I know of named Lianda Beach, who married a Mr. Hommel. Both Mrs. Jennie Beach and her daughter died in later years in California.

I am quite interested in tracing Merritts from Iowa and will be glad to share the info that I have.

There was a family of Beaches living Northwest of Dows, but they moved years ago. They had two daughters, one was Patricia but I can't remember the other girl.

I know it's been a long time but I just got onto this family today -- it's a convoluted connection with my family. Milo Beach's wife, Dora, was the 2nd wife to my mother's great-uncle. I have pieced a bit together. If you are still interested, I would be happy to correspond.
