My great grandfather, James Stehlik, came over in 1876 from Bohemia and settled in Montour and Carlton. His wife was Anna Benda Stehlik and his mother was Terezie Svoboda Stehlik. I didn't locate any Stehlik's in Tama County in the late 1800's but I did see records for Benda and Svoboda families. I am looking for information for a region, town or village that they may have come from in Bohemia. Any help would be appreciated.
