I'd like to find information on Samuel and Sarah Drummond in Keokuk Co. I'm trying to pin down when they came to Iowa from Ohio. Their son, Laban, was born in Ohio in 1858 but he was married in Wapello Co. in 1883. Sarah Drummond died 9 June 1875 and is buried in the (Old?) Methodist Cemetery in Richland, so I'm guessing that perhaps they moved from Ohio to Keokuk Co and then their son, Laban moved on to Wapello Co. Samuel died 11 Jul 1898 and is also buried in the Methodist Cemetery.

Can anyone pin them down in a census anywhere from 1860 to 1890? Are there any death or burial records for either of them? Any deeds or land records? Anything at all?!

The other children in the family were Lydia Drummond (b. 1848 Ohio), Ocella (or Ocilla, or Orilla, not sure, b. 1849 Ohio), Henry and/or John (b. 1860 Ohio, not sure if these guys are twins or the same person with 2 names). Perhaps there's info on any of them in later census information in Keokuk Co.
