Attention all descendants of Robert E Rash, 1805-1882, died Keokuk Co, IA. Some of us cousins here in Iowa are considering putting together a family reunion on September 25, 2004 in Des Moines, Iowa. Hello, My name is Larry Lundin. Among Robert Rash's children was a daughter named Nancy. In 1859, Nancy Rash married Oliver Lundin in Keokuk Co., Iowa and they had 4 children including a son named Oscar. Oscar was my grandfather, his son Ralph was my father. Oliver and Nancy had a blacksmith business in Richland which was a trade he learned in Sweden before coming to America. I wish I had gotten involved in geneology earlier and would have certainly enjoyed making the trip to Iowa for your reunion a few years ago. I would love to learn more about them.
