Looking for info on Isaac Hemp b-1825 Harrison Co IN who married Mary Ellen CANLER(CANLEY) b-VA They lived in Pike Co MO when my great grandmother was born in 1853. They had a son, John W. HEMP, living in Corydon in Jan 1923. Any help will be appreciated...Thanks

I have spent years trying to research the marriage of Casper Hemp and Magdelina Spore Aug 16 1785 in Shenandoah Co. VA. Magdelina may have been connected to my Spore family in Shen. Co., because Casper Hemp appeared in the same household as Jacob Spore (my g-g-gf) in early Tax Lists.

The second part of my Hemp dilemma comes when my g-g-grandparents Jacob Mauck/Mock and Margaret Hemp were married Aug 9 1811 in Washington Co. TN, where the Maucks, Spores, and apparently some Hemps, had moved from Shenandoah Co. VA. Later, after the Spores and some of the Maucks moved to Harrison Co. IN, a Mauck cousin, Christian Mauck married Catherine Hemp Nov 14 1824.

Is Isaac Hemp connected to any of the marriages mentioned here?

Not that I know of-- Isaac Hemp is the son of Jacob Hemp who is the son of Frederick Hemp, I believe. They came from Indiana. If I see the manes you mentioned, I will certainly let you know.
