I am trying to locate anybody doing research on the PLUE family of Harrison County, Indiana. I think they came from Stokes County, North Carolina with the Samuel Nelson SNIDER family in the 1830s. Samuel Nelson SNIDER's wife was a Nacy PLUE. She was born on 2 June 1806 in North Carolina and died 18 October 1873 in Harrison County, Indiana. Any help would be appreciated!

I am sure that we have a connection some where. This about the most obsure name around. My great grandmother was Clara Plue
she married Oakley Anderson somewhere in IN but at one time she had to have been in Harrison co. IN because that is where my Grandfather was born. Her father was Scott Plue and her mothe Mary Ellen Knight. You may try Ky, Ill, and TN. Because I have had some nibbles there.
