I have some information on the Plues from Harrison county I have an 1850 census for Harrison Co. Elizabeth IN. It states:
Head of household William Plue age 35 sex M Ocupation Farmer value of real estate 800 born in KY attended school 2 yrs.

Cassy age 33 F born in KY
James age 15 M Born in Ohio
Eliza age 13 F Born in KY
Lucy age 12 F Born in IN
Lucinda age 10 F Born IN could be Virinda

I have Joseph Ackerman born March 1846 married Eliza McKnight Nov. 1875. Their children were Edward m. Pearl Langsdon, Mabel m. Fred Gaus, Joseph m. Clara Hall, Martha (Mattie) m. Thomas Nugent. Joseph's parents were Francis Ackerman and Barbara Ruppert, Francis is the son of Franz Ackerman and Margaretha Moser. The Ackerman family is very large and I have a lot of information if you want to contact me at maureenk@adelphia.net.
