I have an Ohio Death Certificate for a 'W.H. Musser', son of Henry Musser and Louisa Lang, a railroad Brakeman, who died in an accident at the Defiance OH railroad yard on Jan. 7, 1916 (his age is reported as 35 years). His body was removed for burial to Ft. Wayne IN. I realize this is a tall order, but I am looking for someone who might be able to help locate the burial place of W.H. Musser. Thanks!

Lida Mae (Lydia) Koons is a daughter of George Koons (1818-1898). The name is "Koons" not "Koontz". In Alsace, where the family came from, the name was spelled "Kuntz".

George Koons is my great grandfather. I am descended from William, a brother to Lida Mae (Lydia).

Lida Mae (Lydia) married first Carey Aiken and second Theodore Lahmon.

Do these posters know anything about Lydia M. Koons/Koontz born Dec 1871 in Indiana She md to Carey Aikins. After his death she md second to a Theodore Lehman/Leman/Lahman. Returned to Indiana where she died in 1953 and is buried somewhere in Allen County. Was that the name she was buried under? Her son was named George Koontz Aikins. He died in 1979 and is buried in Allen County, IN

For those who have not already discovered the site, there are free census transcriptions for Indiana counties at www.us-census.org/states/indiana.

These transcriptions are very useful to researchers who do not have access to images. They can also be useful to researchers who do have access to images because in many cases, they are prepared by people do research in the areas they are transcribing, and they are able to provide a more accurate index of names.

These transcriptions have been done by volunteers who work for free and provide their work at no charge, and the number of transcriptions available depends upon the number of volunteers willing to do the work. Because of this, only a few census years are available for Allen County.

If you do research in Indiana, be sure to check and see if there are transcriptions available for the areas you are researching. Also, PLEASE consider volunteering to do a transcription, even if it's only one township. Your work can help hundreds, if not thousands, of your fellow researchers.

Born on Sept. 22, 1929, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of George W. and Henrietta (Gleigh) Williams.
Survivors include a son, D. John Waters of Huntington; two sisters, Hazel Yourkwitz of Pensacola, Fla., and Dorothy Jauregui of Ossian; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Gladys Wojciechowski.

Calling is from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Myers Funeral Home, Markle Chapel.

Services are at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Kathie Jones officiating.
Burial will be in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Huntington County. Preferred memorials are to the Markle Park Foundation.

Tell me about your Pages. Names Dates... I have Albert Page and wife Hannah Reginna Timmons Page. Married in Tippecanoe Ind. lived around the Momence Illinois area. Their son Fred bn. 1882 was my grandfather. He had brothers Henry, Frank, Mike (Minnis), Alonzo, sisters Mary (married Harold Margison) & Sarah (married Sodemann then Kessler). Fred married Emma Johnson (Jensen) then Mary Cook, lived in Villa Grove Illinois.
