Looking for a book called "Hillbilly Homestead", a family history of Bohrers begining with Daniel Bohrerfer (exiled from Holland 1823) written by Evelyn Heath, granddaughter of Alma Bohrer and C.H. Herrin. Virgil Edward Bohrer's wife Elizabeth Ann Campbell was born in Cumberland Co., IL, also two of their children, Ruth and Blanche. Thanks for your help. Marilyn Hartin rmhartin@seark.net

Hi Marilyn,

Your email address is no longer active, so I'm posting this here hoping you'll see it.

I was searching for this book too. As a child growing up in Cincinnati in the 1980's, my friend Emily Gillespie had this book on their shelf. I asked to read it but she said I couldn't borrow it because it was written by a family member (her maternal grandmother I believe), it was about their family, and they only had one copy. The family moved to Kenosha, Wisc. in 1990 and I lost touch. I can get you more info on the family if you'd like.

Good luck and let me know if you find it.
Amy
