This is not my family but I have found a way to locate old newspapers by going to http://news.google.com/archivesearch
Not all newspapers are listed but Rome News Tribune is one of them. In this case, I just put in my search criteria as Clemones + Rome and got lots of hits. You will have to weed through them as several different newspapers will be listed. I did find 2 newspaper articles, one for William Clayton and one for Harold and an obit for Harold. I have attached them for you. There is plenty more to be found on Clemones in the Rome News Tribune. I saw lots of arrests and marriage announcements. The marriage announcements are a genealogists dream. They are full of information. Hope this helps you further your genealogy research. Kimberly
