Hi, seeking information on Cook County Striplings,

Hello Bill,
I too, am researching my Stripling family line and last night found out that there were some from Cook County.
My G-grandfather was William Oscar Stripling (1885 - 1958)who resided in Colquitt Co. My dad told me last night that he had a brother, "Uncle Perry" who lived in Cook Co.
So I have two Stripling brothers, at the least, who I'm guessing both lived (born??) in Cook Co. My Grandmother believes that "Oscar came from over in Cook Co."
Does either one of these names line up with anything you have?

Yes I have William Oscar in my file. He is buried at Sardis Primitive Baptist Church in Berlin, Colquitt Co Ga. My connection with William O. is through my g grandfather, William Franklin Stripling, also resting at Sardis. My great-grandfather is also William Franklin Stripling (1848-1921). My grandfather was Walter William Stripling (1898-1938). I would be interested in sharing information with others on this line.
