Greetings,
I'm researching the family tree of the Hamiltons of Two Egg, Jackson County, Florida. I need ancestor information on Levi Hamilton, who served in the 6th Florida Infantry CSA and dies in Camp Chase, Ohio in 1865.

He married Rebecca Hewett in 1856 in Jackson County, FL.

Have you searched the 1850 and 1860 Federal census yet? Also, have you looked to see if there was a request for State given to his wife?
