Hello I have been away for sometime and am in need of help. My grandmother was Minnie Mae Wear Hill. She was the daughter of Charles Henry Wear of Hamilton County. She was born there in 1898. Her father killed a man in a poker game in Jasper around 1905 and disappeared, never to be heard from again. In 1910 her mother died and she went to live with her brother Ed. In the process of closing out some family matters something has came up concerning my grandmothers estate and it is necessary for me to find the closest living relative to Ed Wear. Can anyone help me. Any information at all would be greatly appreciated. All I know of Ed Wear is that he was living in Hamilton County in 1911. God bless

My great grand father was henry or frank Wear. My family seems to know nothing about this side of things and I would really like to know more. Henry wear supposed to have had a son henry frank wear. Do you know anything of this.

I'm searching for my grandfather's geneology. His name was Samuel Dewey Taylor born October 17 1898. Not sure if he was born in Florida. However, his family lived in Jennings Florida. His father's name might have been George and mother's name might have been Mary. His siblings included Jessie, Ruth, Oscar, Lewis, Bill and Glen. All last name Taylor. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

Oh, sorry, I just saw you mentioned Jasper. My father, Henry Knowles Jr was born in Jasper, FL in 1914. His father, Henry Sr was the Marshall as was killed in Jasper in 1924. I have a Hamilton County history book and will check for the names you mentioned.
