Dear Alma: I don't recognize any of the names in your note, but I'm just getting started with the "Sorqvist'' name. I've been mistakenly trying to trace it for years as "Sarquist'', which is the American spelling used by my wife's ancestors since their arrival in the U.S. around 1890. I'm looking for an Edward Henry Sorqvist (1858-1945), born in Jonkoping and emigrated around 1890. Wife was Augusta Morelius Hermanson. Both died in Chicago.
