Henry & Lucinda (Stephenson) Talbott 1900 Census

On the 1920 Orange Co. census, the Talbott family was living in Santa Ana,in Orange County as shown below:

Henry, Age 49, Lucinda, Age 42, Grace, Age 17, Albert, Age 15, & Paul, Age 9. Henry was born in Ohio, Lucinda in Missouri, and the children in Kansas. Supposedly, Lucinda had given birth to 6 children and they were living at the time of the census, somewhere other than the household.

Lucinda was an older sister of my gr-grandmother, America (Stephenson) Brown Mozingo. Any information anyone could provide on the Talbott family would be most appreciated.

Searching for old classmate, Betty CLEMSON who graduated 1941 from Adams Twp. High School, St Michael, Cambria County PA. Betty was born around 1923 and was the daughter of Eugene Lester and Jean CLEMSON. Her father, Eugene, worked for Berwind White Coal Company at St Michael.

We have traced her and her family to Rochester NY area during the late 1940s. Her brother (also Eugene Lester CLEMSON, wife Elinor) appears to have moved to Orange County California Betty's father passed away (based on SS records) at Rochester 1967 Her brother Eugene passed away in Cypress, Anaheim, Orange County CA in 1988 while his wife Eleanor passed away 2006

Myself and other classmates have wondered what became of Betty CLEMSON, as no one heard from her after HS graduation.

Mr. Steven Charles Heimann, age 60 of Woolwine, Va passed away Monday, February 15, 2010 at Pioneer Community Hospital in Stuart.

He was born in Orange, California on September 15, 1949.

Mr. Heimann served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, was a finish carpenter, and of the Catholic faith.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Ellen Montgomery Heimann.

Mr. Heimann is survived by his wife, Donna Heimann of the home; one daughter, Carrie Lynn Martin of Apalachian, New York; three sons, Randy Joe Heimann of Falls Church, Virginia, Michael John Heimann and Gregory Lawrence Heimann, both of San Diego, California; three grandchildren, Sarah Ellen Martin, Laura Eileen Martin and Nicholas Steven Heimann; his father, Lawrence Henry Heimann of Yucaipa, California; one brother, Mark Wayne Heimann of Martinsville, Virginia; and one sister, Kathy Marie Christensen of Calimesa, California.

Funeral services for Mr. Heimann will be held at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart on Friday, February 19, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with military rites by the Patrick County Veterans Memorial Honor Guard. Honor Guard Chaplain Lewis Knight will be officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be held at a later date. Somehow the names got mixed up in the family, it's actually, Leroy J Mapplebeck, Robert J Mapplebeck, Leroy Richard Mapplebeck (that's me) Joseph Mapplebeck (died 1990) and Marilyn Mapplebeck, we all have a combined 11 children, I have one 15 month old granddaughter.

I am trying to determine if this Arthur Neumann is the one I am looking for. He was born 20 Jan 1890 in Buffalo County, WI. His mother's name was Juliana (Prell or Brehl?) Neumann Beseler Schwoebel. He was born Arthur Neumann but went by Arthur Beseler for a time after his mother married Gottfried Beseler. I think his father's name was Carl Neumann but right now can't verify that. Early census records and his WWI draft registration are under the name Arthur Beseler. No one seems to know where he lived after leaving Buffalo Co WI or who he married.

Obituaries from the Orange County Register newspaper on the NewsBank website that I have access to only go back as far as 1/1/1987, so Garth's couldn't be there. Even the OC Register's own website only has archives back through 1987.

I checked all papers in California that NewsBank has obits from, for an obituary for Patricia, but there wasn't one. But NewsBank doesn't have any obits from the other large newspaper covering Orange County, the Los Angeles Times, so there could be obits in that newspaper for Garth or Patricia. I don't know if or where those obits might exist.
