My person died in '41 but from what I can gather, the hospital had little private cottages in the rear of the property where people were treated for addictions. I believe my gentleman had an alcohol addiction. This hospital is quite an interesting facility and apparently went through a number of reincarnations before being burnt in the 1965 Watts Riots.
