For the location, try this link:
http://www.topozone.com/map.asp?lat=35.13&lon=-93.9719&a...

At 1:250,000 scale you can see the position relative to Booneville.

At 1:50,000 scale you can read the "Lyles Chapel Cemetery" label on the map.

Can't help with who might be buried there, sorry.

Bob,

I have access to the Lyle's Chapel Cemetery records and here's the information that I have found -

John B. Perry, husband of Etta "Ettie" Sykes.
B: 28 AUG 1865 Unknown location, perhaps Texas
M: 16 FEB 1890 Booneville, Logan County, Arkansas
D: 04 OCT 1947 Booneville, Logan County, Arkansas

Buried in Lyle's Chapel Cemetery near Booneville, Arkansas.

I did not find a monument for Etta "Ettie" (Sykes) Perry, but I do know some information about her.

Etta "Ettie" Sykes was the daughter of Thomas Sykes and
Nancy Louisa "Lou" (Winburne) Sykes.

Honorah Perry, wife of James Elijah Knowles.
B: 30 SEP 1861 Texas
D: 18 JAN 1940 Booneville, Logan County, Arkansas

Buried in Lyle's Chapel Cemetery near Booneville, Arkansas.

James Elijah Knowles was the son of John Henry Knowles and Martha Jane (MNU) Knowles.

James Elijah Knowles, husband of Honorah Perry.
B: 18 MAR 1857 Commanche County, Texas
D: __ SEP 1947 Raton, Colfax County, New Mexico

His monument reads 1857 - 1947.

Buried in Lyle's Chapel Cemetery near Booneville, Arkansas.

Note: John Henry Knowles and Martha Jane (MNU) Knowles
are buried in Lyle's Chapel Cemetery near Booneville, Arkansas.

I do know someone that could take some pictures of the monuments, but I am not sure when.

Do you know the names of the parents of John B. Perry and Honorah (Perry) Knowles and any birth, marriage and/or death dates for them?

I look forward to hearing from you. Talk with you later.

Best regards,
Ken

Not sure if this is still an active thread or not; however,my Knowles family research recently lead me to the Lyles Chapel Cemetery for which I can now provide directions, photos and family history if you are still searching. I can also forward a photo of Honorah Perry Knowles' monument if you like, as she married one of my distant cousins, James Elijah Knowles. Regards, Machelle R Lewallen
