Hi,
I'm just wondering if any of you remember a book that was published a couple years or so back, "Remembering Shoal Creek"? I'm not real sure that was the name, but similar. A relative of Ruck Horn passed the information along to me. (I never got the book, we had a series of Postal robberies here at the time and I think the order I made may have been lost in that ruckus.) But anyway, Id like to get the book and can't find it in my web searches.
Hope someone remembers.

The book is called "Remembering...Shoal Creek, Blaine - New Blaine, Harkey's Valley, River Mountain, Pin Hook - Liberty - New Liberty, and Delaware in Logan County, Arkansas" by Ratha Burnham Lane and Mary Wood Gehring.
Contact Ratha Burnham's daughter for more info. at fcochran@hiwaay.net

Hi Micah,
Thanks for the information. I recently had asked again as I lost the information. So, thanks for sharing that information with me.
My grandparents were all from around the communities around that part of Arkansas, and my Dad was born near Shoal Creek.
I don't know how many times while growing up I would hear my Grandpa say he felt like getting up Sunday morning and go to Harkey's Valley.
Well, thanks again.
Linda

Which Williamses are you looking for? There is not much, if any, information on the other names you mention in the book. It is still available though.
