I am trying to find descendants of my gr. gr. aunt, Melissa Belle "Lea" HADLEY. According to family information she was b. 4 Apr 1868 KS. She married after 1880 and lived in Booneville, AR. We don't know the name of her husband or names of any children. I'm hoping someone will have information on her because she is the only sibling of my gr. gr. grandfather which we haven't been able to find after she married. Thanks! Peggy

Weird, my cousins' name is Melissa.

Hi Lea,

Thanks for your interest! It is quite a coincidence!! I have traced my Hadley branch back to New Jersey, but not anything further back across the ocean. My line goes back to a Chase Hadley in New Jersey in the early 1800's. Your line very well could have been part of the same family, however I only have a "skeleton" (no pun intended!) genealogy on the descendants of Chase Hadley.

Thanks for responding!
Peggy
