Location of Bushmaier Cemetery in Crawford County AR?

I have requested this location once but failed to document exactly where the it is located and would like this information again. I believe I was told near KIBLER Community but not positive. My research is on one William T. FORD buried there in 1888, and also probably his son is there also, listed as W.G. Ford, born in 1853 and died in 1883. So besides knowing the location of the cemetery, I need to know if this W.G. is buried near W.T. Ford?
Thanks for any information on these Fords! Glynda in OK.

The History In Headstones Book has the cemetery located at 1&1/2 miles north of Kibler on the former John F. Brushmiaer farm. William T. Ford born 11-10-1823, died 3-30-1888 --W.G. Ford, son of A. and W.T. Ford, born 1-27-1853, died 8-27-1883. Hop this helps you!!!!

Thanks Martha! Also, we've just found out from FORD descendants of this direct line that THIS IS our William T. Ford line buried in Bushmaier Cemetery and it is his son William G. - What kept throwing us off (until we located a direct descendant) was that his wife Elizabeth Bingham FORD is buried in the Alma Cemetery and not with him and their son. Also, one small discrepancy is listed in the cemetery book and that is W.G. FORD, son of W.T. and A. Ford. Elizabeth should have been listed as mother or E. instead of A. Ford.
Thanks to all who responded to this email query. Glynda

The directions you have received are accurate. If you ever want to see I’ll be happy to show it to you. The cemetery my family has the keys to the two gates you have to travel through to get to it. Much of the cemetery is overgrown.

Chris ~ Thanks for the verification on the cemetery location and I'd like to view it for certain but it will have to be around the first of the year if you're available.
We just returned from a 3-week vacation so I've got alot of catching up to do here first and making preparations for Christmas holidays.
SOoooo, I'll let you know whenever I'm free in January possibly and we'll meet up. Will contact you then!
Thanks for the offer too! Glynda

Girl

The Bushmiaer Cemetery is located 1.5 miles north of Kibler, however, I have not been able to find it on a map.
Both William T and W G Ford are buried there. William T Fords headstone reads that the was born 10 Nov 1823 and died 30 Mar 1888. W G Fords headstone reads: son of A and W T Ford, born 27 Jan 1853 and died 27 Aug 1883. There is a Jessie Pearl Ford, born 1886, died 1889 buried in Bushmiaer Cemetery. Hope this helps.

Joe

I HAVE A ANCESTOR BURRIED IN THIS CEMETERY. JOHN T. BOWMAN WHO DIED AROUND 1896 AS A INFANT. IF YOU HAVE ACCESS TO THIS CEMETERY, I WOULD LIKE TO TRY AND FIND AND PHOTOGRAPH THE CEMETERY AND HEADSTONES.

I'm going to try and make a trip there in January because I've just moved back to an area near the cemetery which is less than 1 hour away. Can hardly wait to get up there however I've been warned that the cemetery is very overgrown and neglected and is on private property. I'll try and locate your relative's grave and photograph it if its visible. Wish me luck and keep in touch to jog my memory. Probably drive up in mid-January 2007.

I LIVE NEAR MULDROW, LESS THAN HALF HOUR AWAY. IF POSSIBLE, MAYBE WE CAN MEET THE PERSON WHO HAS KEYS TO THE GATE TOGETHER. I THINK IT IS A SMALL CEMETERY AND I WOULD LIKE TO PHOTOGRAPH ALL THE STONES BEFORE THEY DISSAPEAR. I KNOW THE GENERAL AREA. MY E-MAIL IS BILLBOWMAN@NETSCAPE.COM

Okay Bill, that sounds good to me. I'll get back with you whenever I have some free time (after the holidays) and we'll meet. Meantime, I'm going to try and find the photos sent to me of the cemetery, or do you have these already? Looking at them again, the cemetery doesn't look like its in as bad of a condition as it had been described to me. However I don't know what condition (meaning readable!) the stones will be in. Maybe that is what was in bad condition?
I'll get back with you! Glynda
