During my research to find my ancestors, someone told me that some of my ancestors are buried in Millry, AL. By a methodist church???

My last name is Cayten, but I've noticed different spellings of my last name in 1800's/early 1900's census'. I've seen Cayten, Caton, Caten, Cayton. I'm looking to find where any of these people with these last names are buried. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

I have a lot of Caten in my line; there are several cemeteries in Washington County, Alabama with Caten's; some are interred in Barlow Cemetery, Shady Grove, Mount Carmel, Chalk Hill, Healing Springs, Sunflower, Springbank;

Thanks for the reply. I have visited Millry, AL since I made the original post. I visited several grave sites and found A LOT of Caten's buried in numerous cemeteries throughout Millry.

I have since found out that Henry Caten was the brother to my gg grandfather, Robert Cayten (buried in Forrest County, MS). There was another brother named Sidney Caten.

I also found out that their father was Andrew Cayten and their mother was Eliza Miller, both from South Carolina. I don't have any proof of this, just info from a family tree done several years ago on the Cayten's by someone else.

I also found out that Robert and Henry's mother, Eliza, died fairly young and Andrew remarried a Rebecca Williamson. They had 4 kids together.

I can't seem to find any more inforation beyond Andrew Caten. I'm not even sure if any of this is correct. I'm at a brick wall right now with Andrew Caten.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
