I need help with this line of Weavers. Betty Weaver's parents are Dave Weaver and Ella Weaver, but Dave and Ella were never married.I know Ella married a Charles Stevenson. Dave and Ella's daughter Betty married Frank Reed son of Jim Reed and Ophelia L. Jordan and had children. I also know they moved to California in the 1940's with their children and stayed there until their deaths. This is all I have. If anyone has any more info about these lines please let me know. Hello, I messaged you earlier on a link about Ophelia Reed, thought I would also check the posts here and low and behold I found exactly what I was hoping. I know where they are and who they are, well at least most of them.

Betty (Weaver) Reed married Frank Reed and they had approx 7 children, of which Ophelia Jane Reed who married Fletcher Sullivan and they had 6 children I believe without looking and Judy Sullivan is one of them who is the mother of my fiance Joe Sullivan the eldest of her 5 children.

Judy passed away recently and we discovered that she had been registered as a Choctaw Indian and are trying to see what Joe would need to do to do the same. But as I am finding it seems the family is or may be creek as well.

I was surfing the internet and sometimes i will just google my grandparents names...low and behold your posting came up! My grandfather was frank reed, married to Betty (Weaver) reed.
My son has made a website for frank and betty reed descedents.
alot of my relatives are registered with the MOWA Band of Choctaw in Alabama.
My cousin Charles Sims is the official delagate out here in the west as a liasion to the alabama tribe.
I can give you weblinks to these relatives..some who have extensive documentation of our linage..back to the 1700's.

Judy Sullivan was my first cousin. Ophelia was my Aunt, her sister Polly was my mother. I use to live in santa rosa..i remember joe as an infant...and as a child.
many of our relatives are registered with the MOWA Band of choctaw indians in alabama.
