Thanks for the info guys. My gggrandfather was the infamous "Sam Gore". I had just recently found that he went to prison and didn't know why, i couldn't find any info anywhere. Thank goodness for the message boards. his son John Henry is my ggrandfather: Dovie Mae is my grandmother. I had never heard this before. Guess that's one of those "skeletons" in the closet.
