This is what I have on Jackson Parrish son of Samuel Parrish and Elizabeth Ledbetter:
Jackson Parrish born 1834 in AL died in Dale County, AL
in 1850 census with Samuel and Elizabeth.
Jackson was in the 15th AL Infantry CSA
married about 1857 Winnie born 1830 in GA
I have two children that I got from an "internet" cousin:
Green B. Parrish born 1858 AL
Martha J. Parrish born 1860 AL
Jackson Parrish' s original land purchases from Federal Government recorded in Dale County tract book now is within the Ft Rucker Reservation.

Sorry I missed one wife of Jackson Parrish which is the one that was the mother of the other 7 sons and 2 daughters. Jackson Parrish married in 1867 Sarah F. Miers born 1846. She can be found in the 1900 Dale County, AL census with Jackson Parrish. The other two children must have been from his first wife Winnie

Here is the family line as I have it now. Just keep in mind that I am still documenting a lot of this.
William Parrish born 1701 married Elizabeth Tiller
son: Jeremiah Parrish born 1726
two children of Jeremiah Parrish:
1. Jason Edward Parrish born 1748
had 9 children
2. Jeremiah Parrish born 1750 (no other information so far)
Jason Edward Parrish born 1748 children were:
Roger Parrish (my ancestor)
Samuel Parrish born 1769(ancestor of Richardson J. Parrish, Sr.)
Unknown Parrish
William Parrish
Unknown Parrish
Unknown Parrish
Ama Ann Parrish
Elias Parrish, Sr.
Richardson J. Parrish
Richardson J. Parrish, Sr. (1807-1888) was the son of Samuel Parrish born 1769 and Elizabeth Ledbetter
Samuel was the brother of my ancestor Roger Parrish. Samuel must have name his son for his brother Richardson J. Parrish. Richardson J. Parrish, Sr. born 1897 also had a son Richardson J. Parrish, Jr. born 1846.

In case you haven't found out already, John Washington Parish married Nancy Elizabeth Baxter in Henry County, Al. on 20 Jan 1867 (my G-Grandparents) his father is James Washington Parish he married Mary J Mozingo in Henry Co., Al. on 1 Mar 1844. He died during the "War Between The States", some say in Elmira Prison, but I haven't been able to document this. It is believed that James W. is a son of John and Sarah Parish, in Henry Co., Al. in the early 1840's, and decended from Edward Parish, S. C.

I ordered copies from Henry Co., Alabama Courthouse. This is the exact names on the marriages and dates. James W. Parish and Mary Marengo married on the 3rd January 1844 in Henry Co., Al. Marriage book 1844-1868 pg 92. I've looked all over for the name of Marengo, couldn't find it, finally found post that linked her sister to Isham Snell as his wife. Both sisters are buried next to each other in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery north of Pansey, Al.
John Parish and Nancy Baxter married on 5th of May 1867 in Henry Co., Al. Marriage book 1822-1867 page 588,
The names I gave you on previous post is their exact names.
Can you give me a correct list of the daughters of Dorcas Skinner Mozingo and did you ever find her second marriage to a Ferrell? I couldn't find it.
Thanks, P Trotter

I believe that Dorcas Skinner Mozingo married only twice. First to Jonathan Mozingo and then to James Thurell. The marriage to Thurell was 27 Apr 1845 in Henry Co., Al.
Dorcas' daughters as I have them are: Mary J. b. 7 Feb 1825 d. 8 Oct 1912, Martha A. b. 25 Sep 1827 d. 28 Jan 1913, Elizabeth b. abt 1830 d. July 1850, Sally b. abt 1832 d.?, Eliza A. b. abt 1835 d. aft 1880, Mariah b. abt 1836 d. 4 Dec 1901. Some of the dates are guesses using census records.
