I am a descendant of Dr. William Hughes, b. 1805, and Ellen Cowsett Hughes, through their daughter, Amanda "Addie" Hughes Gibson Kennedy's line. This family lived in Pleasant Ridge, Greene County, AL and in the southern district of Pickens County, where William Hughes was a practicing physician. I have the family album, which belonged to Addie Hughes, b. Sept 1847, and would love to identify some of the Hughes' in the photos. I would appreciate hearing from anyone there who has info about the Hughes family and especially if they have old family photos they could scan and email. I am also trying to locate where Amanda Addie Hughes (who married James Gibson and then Richard Kennedy)was buried. Many thanks.
