Addison Washington Barnes land grant 1845

I came across a US Land Grant for an Addison Washington Barnes in Dale County, AL with an issue date of 1845.

Does anyone know anything about this person? I am trying to see if and how he fits into my tree, and if he is someone I am thinking he might be.
