I am looking for the family of my grandfather John William Calhoun b. 1886. He was born in Coffee County Alabama and lived in Elba, Opp, Victoria, Deanville, and Mobile Alabama. I have located one record (WWI draft registration card). He is listed as married with 7 children and 30 years old. He was married to Esther Kendricks b. 1888 in Alabama. There were several brothers who also registered at the same time James C. b. 1880, John William b.1886, Thomas b. 1887, Monroe 1888, John b. 1889, Alto Daniel b. 1898, & Ambros Powell b. 1900. There was also a census which listed the younger brothers with a brother named Shelby b. 1902 and a sister Fannie b.1898. The family was living with their mother, Julia or July, and their father James J Calhoun in Deanville, Coffee Cty. Alabama in 1910 and 1920..
