I have these individuals in my file. Ida married William Henry Teel. They are buried at the Carolina Baptist Cemetery in Covington County, Alabama. I have the following children: Mattie Lee, Nora Bell, Aaron, Jesse, James Bennett, and Ollie. Most of these children are also buried at Carolina. There is information on William Henry's family at www.buriedsecrets.com . Look under the file for Bennett Bass or John Teel. Ida's husband was the son of Mary Bass (daughter of Bennett) and William Teel (son of John Teel) Let me know if you need more info on these children.

As you know, Ida was my great great aunt. her sister, Molly brown, was My Great grandmother.

Jesse Teel is buried at Carolina Baptist Cemetery in Covington County. He was born 12/18/1896 and died 12/17/1962. Ida died in Mobile in 1954 but she was buried in Covington County

I have looked at this website buriedsecrets.com and find a stricking resemblance in my family history when it talks about the Teels that settled in Old Town Al the Teel Creek is supose to be named after them...I know it states that some of the Teels went to Texas .... but what about the Teels that stayed there is a Teel Cemetary in Coffee County Al that list the following Teel, Elizabeth. Thomas Teel wife was Martha Hudson I found that on Cynthia Josephine Teel/Harrison death Certificate . she married William Lewis Harrison they are my g grandparents William Lewis met Josephine in covington CO AL . Thomas Teel use to as a young boy help run the family mill in Old Town when lumber ran out they moved to covington I am still trying to find where the Harrison fits into or if it does fit into the Grancer line.He had a sister name Mary and a brother name Joshua , Joshua married a Melinda Gunter. I noticed you have some Ward's related to you I have a question that maybe you can clear up. Gat Creech married a Roxie Harrison they had Buddy Creech, Daisy Creech, Johnnie Creech, and Sarah Creech . Some people have him married to a Ward could he have been married more than once he was in his 70's when he married Roxie he shows up on the census with Rosy Ann ( what they also called Roxie) living next door to my grandfather ..... saw your older listing. I am searching for my great grandfather Thomas Allen Teel, 1833 in Georgia married Melissa Hazletine Gutherie. All I can find is he died before 1880. No mention on Melissas death and my father never mentioned him. His grand father was Lodrick Teel
1754 - 1867 burried in talapossa county. alabama. My mother said he was nicknamed club foot and died in jail for killing a man over an political argument.
