I am researching my Husbands family tree and am hitting a brickwall. I have the following information and would appreciate if anyone has that 'missing' clue to help me progress:

Grandfather: Joseph Daniel Williams (Born 09 Feb 1901 in Llangybi, Died in Bath 24 Nov 1954).
Great-Grandfather: Evan Williams (Born around 1871) married to Catherine Evans 10 Nov 1901 in Lampeter.
Great-Great-Grandfather: Joseph Williams.

I am particularly interested in when and where Evan was born, and who his mother was. Also when he died.

Both Evan and his father, Joseph, seem to have vanished from the Census's. Joseph is listed as Deceased on Evan & Catherine's Marriage Certfictate, however he was a Mining Contractor when alive. I have also found a possible Evan Williams (with a middle name of John) who died during the Boer War in 1901, so maybe this is a link, but am just keeping that one as a possible for now.

Any information would be very helpful. Thanks in advance.
