My information says Elisha and Elijah were twin brothers who came from England in 1800 and by 1820 were in TN. Their grandson was William Howard Purdom 1842 - 1916. Elisha's sons were John Wiley, and Wilson. They were cousins to Sandy Hamilton Purdom, Nealy W Purdom and William D Purdom who went to Calloway County, KY by 1850. Nancy Hopkins Purdom was murdered by slaves in 1836.
