Mary Elvira "Polly" McKinney was my GGG-Grandmother. She was born about 1771-75 in N.C., Stokes Co., I believe, and died in 1840 in KY. She married John Purdom II and they had seven children. One of them, Marcus "Mark" Purdom was my GG-Grandfather and his second wife, Elizabeth Crews, was my GG-Grandmother.
