Does anyone know anything about John McNabb who was appointed as one of the Justice of the Peace in August 1788? I am a descendant of John McNabb born about 1790 in North Carolina. Greene County was formed from part of Washington County, Tennessee in 1783. Washington County was part of North Carolina prior to that. Greene County also borders North Carolina. I am trying to find out if there is a connection and if this John McNabb who was a Justice of the Peace in 1788 could be the father of my John McNabb born 1790.
