Loudoun Co., VA List of Tithables for 1767 has one N. Judy in household of John Champe. As far as I can tell, this is only entry for N. Judy in Loudoun. John Champe appears to have gone to Hampshire Co., (present-day WV) about 1772, and I see there were Judy's in that area. Any idea as to who N. Judy was? Could he have been Nicholas Judy, Sr., son of Martin Tschudi? According to my research, the great grandson of Nicholas Judy, Sr., married Elizabeth Frances Champ (1873-1952) in WV.
