Hi Maria, I have found a reference to James Dinnis Hird in my research - I'm positive its the same fellow. I have some info on his ancestors and am trying to link his grandfather John Hird b1791 Middle Rasen, Linc to my ggggrandfather Thomas Hird b.1793, Middle Rasen.
