Hi Lutz, My Harms ancestors in Germany were Dietrich HARMS, born 1590, died 1664 in Stockse, married to Catharine Krumwiede; their son, Dietrich HARMS, was born 1628, died 1710, and married Catharine Glocken. Next generation: Catharine HARMS, born 1654, died 1727 and married Heinrich Niemeyer. Other surnames in that line are: Runge, Schrader,Kahle, Bergmann. Another Harms line is: Anne HARMS, born 1633, died 1702 in Steimbke, married Johann Krumwiede. Other surnanmes in that line are: Duensing, Block, Dauel, Dannenberg, Bergmann, Niemeyer. In both lines, most of the descendants lived and died in Germany (Steimbke/Stockse area). Do my Harms ancestors match any that you might have? Thanks.... Linda
