Do you know on what ship and when your grandfather came to this country? I assume he came with his mother and sister, Anna. I do have copies of the ship's manifest from Ellis Island showing that Joseph Dedic Sr. and two of his sons, (Joseph Jr & Frank) came over on the steamship "Rhein" which departed from Bremen, Germany on June 2, 1907 and arrived in New York Harbor on June 15, 1907. The records show that they were going to the US to join Joseph Dedic Sr's cousin; however, I don't know who that was. I have been unable to track down when Anna, the mother, and Anna, the daughter arrived. Can you shed any new light on this? Jeanie
