Georgia, This is a long-shot at best, but if you take a look at my web page you may or may not find some information that connects: http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~decann/genealogy/master/ I do not see any information that I can say is what you are looking for, but I do show quite a few folks named William Cann, and one of them has a son named "Rod," which could be short for Rodney. I show no son named Curtis, though. Also, be aware the city in Henry County, Illinois is Geneseo, and you have the last two letters inverted.
