Owandah (Where-the-Bird-Sits)married Nichus Brant. Nichus was a son of the great Brant,one of the most powerful chiefs in the history of the Iroqois,went to visit Queen Anne in 1710. Nichus named his new stepchildren Joseph and Mary from the Bible. Mary would later be known as Molly. I do not believe that Nichus and Owandah had any children together but Nichus may have had children prior to his union with Owandah.Joseph was adopted by Nichus so any other children of Nichus became siblings to Joseph.
