I would like to know more about the Blouin family since I too am descended from Mery/Emery Blouin through three Gabriels and then Guillaume which a census taker in New York mistakenly wrote Dyome. And this name became a surname of Deom in Vermont, then eventually Deo. It was a long hard search! I understand that the Blouin's were one of the original families that helped to settle Quebec and that there is a map of I'le de Orleans with the Maison de Blouin listed. I am interested to learn more. Monica
