Mark: Thank you for your reply. As I continue my searches I will be on the lookout for a Lucas Arvizu. There are many Arvizu's in Hermosillo, Sonora, where my family comes from. I suspect that several Arvizu family's came from Spain and settled there in the late 1700's or early 1800's. You may be a distant relative and I will look to see what I have that I haven't looked at closely. I have many Church records or Arvizu's from Hermosillo going back into the late 1700's. Since there was no Lucas Arvizu in my direct line, as fat as I know, I have not looked for this name, but I will do so and send you any information. Sincerely, Joe Merino
