My Schumann's immigrated in 1882. Parents of my Frederick were Johann and Eva Edith (Unknown) Schumann. They settled in Wright County Minnesota. I actually have a picture of Frederick Schumann 1850 to 1923. His brother Julius was born in 1867, and Alvina born in 1864. Hope this helps. If your Schumann's were in Minnesota at all perhaps they are relations. German naming pattern.
